Stitch – 1969 Ford Galaxie 500

Hello everybody! I would like to introduce you to Stitch.

SOLD

Stitch is a 1969 Ford Galaxie 500 powered by a 302 V8 engine and automatic transmission. This vehicle came to us from a gentleman out towards London, Ontario who lost interest in the car and wanted to focus on other project trucks he had. Although we have not confirmed this we believe we are the 4th owners of this car. In fact, it was said that the original owner never even used the back seat and some of the factory plastic is still wrapped around the rear seat belts. The car runs and drives very well. Its actually surprising how well the small V8 moves such a big car. The floor and frame are solid as well. The biggest drawback with this car would be the paint. The finish has become cracked and chalky over time which can certainly be expected with a 54 year old car. There is also some minor body damage on the passenger front fender which can be seen in the pictures. You will also notice that a molding is missing off the drivers side. That part can be found in the trunk. The wheels and tires are included with the car but there is also another set of factory rims and tires if you prefer a more old school look. Personally, I would put the molding back on and drive it as is but as much as I love this car my wife says “you can’t keep them all” but given that Stitch is in such a solid car we sold him certified.

Now Stitch is officially sold but if this is the type of car you are looking for please still feel free to contact us a memorymotorsca@aol.com or call us at 905-537-3673 and we’d be happy to help you!
