Dale is a first generation 1939 Mercury Eight powered by a flathead V8 engine and a 3 speed manual transmission. Just by looking at the interior of this car you can see that’s an excellent condition inside everything from headliner to floorboards is in really good shape. Dale’s biggest problem is the paint mostly on the passenger side, which is peeling quite badly. This doesn’t mean its not driveable at all In fact the car runs and drives really well. You could hop in this car tomorrow and start collecting smiles and thumbs up every where you go. The suicide rear door are a really cool feature that make it a lot easier to get in and out of the back seat than other cars of the same vintage. The underbody is just as solid as the rest of the car and it steers & stops as it should thanks to a new master cylinder was just installed.
