Hey everybody! I’d like to introduce you to Chick.
Chick is a 1985 Buick LeSabre Limited Collectors Edition powered by a 307 V8 and a 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. This was the last year of the rear wheel drive Buicks sedans in 86 they were downsized to a front wheel drive platform except for the wagons which may be why they called it a collector’s edition I don’t really know. Any of you who do happen to know more about these vehicles please contact us. Chick came to us as part of an estate sale and this car was the owner’s daily driver. Now when most of you think daily driver the first thing that comes to mind is a lot of wear and tear. Well in Chick’s case nothing could be further from the truth. The car is in excellent shape on the outside with only some very minor parking lot blemishes. As shown in the pictures the rubber insert between the front bumper a grille is cracked and one thing that wont show up in the pictures is a minor dent in the rear bumper about the size of a quarter on the passenger side. Other than that, the car is really clean as you will see in the pictures and video. The inside is unbelievably clean. The seats are flawless front and back. The only thing that needs attention is there is a split in the seam of the dash about 10cm’s long. The other thing that shows up in the video and pictures is that the headliner is basically falling apart. As with a lot of cars in this era, the glue that holds the fabric to the headliner has failed. Well you’ll be happy to know that the headliner and the c-pillar panels have been recovered so they now look like new. We will try to post some pictures of this as soon as possible. This car is almost dangerously comfortable to drive. It floats along the road like you’re sitting on your lazy boy recliner in your living room even on the roughest surfaces. Buicks were always known for their superior ride quality. The car is very comfortable to drive even on hot days thanks to the aftermarket tinted windows and FULLY FUNCTIONAL Air Conditioning !
